LOVE DONKEYS ? You've come to the right place

WE ARE a family owned farm in Chester South Carolina located 55 minutes south of Charlotte, North Carolina and north of Columbia, South Carolina. Our goal is to responsibly breed SMALL BUT MIGHTY registered miniature donkeys for pets and performance and equine therapy.  We have over 70 registered donkeys we halter and train daily. We focus on excellent bloodlines and structure first and foremost. We do not breed for color but we have a variety of beautiful colors and spots. We now breed micro and wooly donkeys with the same dedication to excellent health and confirmation. 

WE FELL IN LOVE WITH DONKEYS by accident. Like many we were under the misconception that donkeys are guardian animals. When we rescued a few standard donkeys to "guard our cows", they were pregnant, skittish  and in rough shape and never made it to the cow pasture. We will never sell a single donkey if you don't already own a donkey. We will never sell an intact jack as a pet or companion. Mature jacks can be aggressive and even dangerous. All proceeds from the sale of our donkeys help support our growing herd of Rescue Donkeys through Purple Donkey Human Rescue, a 501 (c)(3) non profit , rescuing humans & animals through equine therapy, mentoring programs, & donkey rescue. Farm visits are by appointment only. If you are looking to purchase or adopt a donkey please READ THIS FIRST, then reach out by email, phone or text to schedule a phone call and then a visit. BEWARE OF SCAMS !!! WE WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR A DEPOSIT BEFORE WE MEET YOU. We will ask questions to make sure you are prepared for your new friend, who can live to be 50 years old. Don't worry, we are here to walk you through the adventure and what might just be the greatest love story of your life.
